The answer

There is no sin or accountability upon you if these thoughts assail you without your choice, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, Allah has forgiven my Ummah for whatever thoughts or whisperings occur within their souls, as long as they do not act upon them or speak of them." Your dislike for these thoughts is a sign of sound belief and strong faith, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said to one who experienced such thoughts: "That is pure faith." You should occupy your mind and utilize your time in learning, inviting to Allah, or lawful earning. And beware of isolating yourself.
