Is it permissible to complete the remaining amount for ‘Umrah from one's private money, or is it better to pay the amount of charity and postpone the ‘Umrah, knowing that the vow was to pay a thousand Egyptian pounds in charity, another thousand for the mosque, and to perform ‘Umrah upon recovering an amount of eight thousand Egyptian pounds, and four thousand of it have already been received?

A vow to give charity (sadaqah (definition)) and perform Umrah (definition) is a vow of obedience that must be fulfilled, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever vows to obey Allah, let him obey Him." A conditional vow does not have to be fulfilled until the condition is met, but it is permissible to fulfill it before the condition is met. There is no harm in performing Umrah before giving charity or vice versa.
