Is the endower responsible for what happens to the property after him, diminishing his reward, or is it an ongoing charity no matter what happens? And is it permissible to endow a house to the Saudi Endowments while it is located in Iraq?

The intention is good, but an endowment (waqf) made after death is a bequest that is not valid for more than one-third of the estate unless the heirs approve it. The condition of the endower regarding the expenditure of the endowment's revenue must be followed, as long as it does not contradict Islamic law, because the condition of the endower is like the text of the Lawgiver. The supervisor of the endowment must adhere to the endower's conditions and implement them in a way that serves the endowment's best interest; otherwise, he is sinful, while the endower's reward remains. The endower should choose a trustworthy supervisor for his endowment.
