What is the ruling on money earned from teaching the Qur’an and Sharia sciences to foreigners in their language, and is this considered asking people for money through the Qur’an, which is forbidden?

It is permissible, according to Islamic law, to teach a foreign language, the Qur’an, and religious sciences for a fee, and to estimate the remuneration by the hour. This is based on the Prophet’s (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Indeed, the most deserving thing for which you take a wage is the Book of Allah." The Shafi‘is, Malikis, and later Hanafis used this hadith (definition) as evidence, while the Hanbalis disagreed, citing some hadiths that scholars have deemed weak or interpreted as specific to someone who volunteered to teach and then later requested a fee.
