Is drawing faces only, without the rest of the body, considered unlawful, and is its ruling the same as for someone who draws the entire body? What is the advice regarding practicing this hobby without committing a sin?

Drawing animate beings is forbidden due to the hadith (definition): "The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, cursed the image-makers." Drawing the head and face with features is forbidden because this is the focus of the prohibition, and this is indicated by Gabriel's command to cut off the head of the statue. However, drawing a face without features is permissible. It is advisable to refrain from drawing animate beings and to occupy oneself with what is more beneficial, such as reading the Qur'an and useful books.
