To what extent is the hadith sound which came to the effect that whoever invokes blessings upon the Messenger of Allah, Allah's peace and blessings be upon him, one hundred times a day, Allah will fulfill for him seventy needs on the Day of Resurrection and thirty needs in this world?

The aforementioned hadith (definition) was narrated by Al-Bayhaqi in Shuab al-Iman from Anas, elevated (marfu): "Indeed, the closest of you to me on the Day of Resurrection in every station will be the one who sent the most blessings upon me in the world. Whoever sends blessings upon me one hundred times on Friday and the night of Friday, Allah will fulfill for him one hundred needs: seventy of the needs of the Hereafter and thirty of the needs of this world. Then, Allah will assign an angel for that, who will bring it into my grave just as gifts are brought to you, informing me of the one who sent blessings upon me by his name, lineage, and the lineage of his tribe, so I record it with me in a white scroll." Al-Suyuti mentioned it in Al-Durr al-Manthur. He did not rule on its authenticity or weakness, but it is permissible to act upon it regarding virtuous deeds if its weakness is not severe and it falls under a sound principle. Indeed, sound hadiths have been narrated concerning increasing blessings upon the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, on Friday.
