Where is the disciplinarian who used to discipline the children of kings and the Salaf in the past, and how does a father discipline his children from a young age in our current time?

Raising and disciplining children with the manners of Sharia (definition) is one of the most crucial tasks. It requires the cooperation of the family and society to produce devout scholars who possess the ethics of scholars and the compassion of educators. For a Rabbani (devout scholar) is a knowledgeable, practicing teacher who nurtures people with the minor matters of knowledge before the major ones. Parents have the responsibility of raising their children upon the religion, protecting them from Hellfire, and teaching them the correct creed, Sharia rulings, and Islamic manners. A child must be accustomed from a young age to dhikr (remembrance of Allah) and noble character, taught the Qur'an and Sunnah (definition). He is commanded to pray at the age of seven and disciplined for not praying at ten. When he reaches maturity, he should be married to a religious woman and assisted in earning a lawful livelihood.
