This is also analogized to the Sharia (definition)'s prohibition of the call to prayer (adhan (definition)) and raising the voice when reciting the Quran for men. Singing is described as corruption, and its female practitioner as a corruptor, because she openly commits sin and corrupts morals, deeds, and livelihoods. The singer's hijab (definition) is valid in itself, but she must fear Allah and not misuse the hijab, becoming a cause for people to turn away from it or disdain it.
