Is it permissible to recite Surat Ya-Sin for easing matters, for peace of mind, and for the fulfillment of wishes? Is it a condition to recite Surat Al-Baqarah daily if one intends to recite it? And what is the blessing mentioned in the Prophetic Hadith concerning Surat Al-Baqarah?

The entire Qur'an is goodness, blessing, and healing, and hearts are reassured by the recitation of any of its surahs; due to the generality of His, the Almighty's, saying: "Unquestionably, by the remembrance of Allah hearts are assured." There is no legal evidence that specifies a certain surah (definition), such as "Ya-Sin," for peace of mind or facilitating matters, and the narrations that mention this are weak or disconnected.

One should recite the Qur'an abundantly without singling out a surah that the Shari'ah has not specified.

Surah Al-Baqarah has a special characteristic and merit in blessing and repelling devils, as mentioned in the hadith (definition): "Indeed, everything has a hump, and the hump of the Qur'an is Surah Al-Baqarah. Whoever recites it in his house at night, no devil will enter his house for three nights, and whoever recites it during the day, no devil will enter his house for three days." Reciting it solely for worldly benefits, without the intention of seeking closeness to Allah, is blameworthy in the Shari'ah. It is not required to recite it daily, but it is recommended to persevere in its recitation, even if every few days.
