The answer

The is an obligatory duty upon the Muslim woman, and abandoning it is a major sin. Whoever repents of this sin with sincere repentance, which involves regret, cessation, and determination not to return to it, then Allah accepts her repentance and replaces her evil deeds with good ones, as stated in His Almighty saying: (Except for those who repent, believe and do righteous deeds. For them Allah will change their evil deeds into good ones. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful), and His Almighty saying: (And turn to Allah in repentance, all of you, O believers, that you might succeed).
