What is the ruling on shunning a dissolute brother when interaction with him leads to committing sins, and is this shunning considered tantamount to killing him, as stated in the Hadith?

Abandonment for a legitimate Shari'ah reason carries no sin, and in it, the Shari'ah interest is observed. It is not limited by a specific time but rather by the existence of its cause. This man should continue to be advised with wisdom and good counsel by those whose words influence him. The hadith (definition): "Whoever abandons his brother for a year, it is as if he has shed his blood" is interpreted as abandonment for no legitimate Shari'ah reason.
