- What is the ruling on working for a company that manages clients' financial and banking accounts and records the interest-based (usurious) gains incurred by them, knowing that the company does not lend to or borrow from banks, and that the usurious transactions occur between the client and the bank? Is the money earned from this work permissible or forbidden?
And what is the ruling on the money accumulated during previous years of work, in the event of ignorance of its prohibition? Is it permissible to perform Umrah with this money? And what is the ruling on the profits resulting from trading with money earned from this work?
- What is the ruling on opening savings and Islamic investment accounts and savings programs, and requesting facilities, financing, and bank credits for a project or to purchase goods, knowing that the bank's dealings are Islamic and do not involve usury?
