Is it permissible to undo magic spells or to seek the help of a Muslim jinn to cast out a Christian jinn that has taken possession of a woman who is suffering from symptoms of magic, despite her commitment to worship and her use of ruqyah sharia, Zamzam water, and other treatments?

The answer

Seeking help from jinn is impermissible due to the danger of their deception and lies, and because it contradicts Islamic creed. It is advised to continue with Ash-Shar'iyyah (Islamic incantations), medical treatment, and supplication. Patience is the key to relief. As stated in the : "The supplication of anyone of you will be answered as long as he does not pray for a sin or for the severing of kinship ties, and as long as he is not hasty." One must also be certain of the answer when supplicating and not be heedless. It is recommended to give charity and supplicate during times when prayers are answered, and to recite the supplication for healing seven times for the sick person: "I ask Allah, the Almighty, Lord of the Magnificent Throne, to cure you and grant you well-being."
