The answer

The place for slaughtering the sacrificial animal (hady) is Makkah, based on the Almighty’s saying: "a sacrificial animal reaching the Kaaba." This is a point of consensus among jurists. It is permissible to slaughter it in any part of the , based on the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) saying: "All of Mina is a place of slaughter, and all the paths of Makkah are roads and places of slaughter." It is not permissible to slaughter it outside the Haram or to give its price as charity to the poor.
