Is it permissible to build a life from usurious money until another job is found?

These funds from working in a usurious bank are forbidden (haram (definition)), and one must dispose of them by giving them to the poor and needy. It is not permissible to benefit from them except to the extent of necessity to cover basic needs, with the obligation to seek another permissible (halal (definition)) job. Working in a usurious bank is cooperation in sin and transgression, and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, cursed the one who consumes usury, the one who feeds it, its scribe, and its two witnesses.
