Does a divorce issued by the husband after a quarrel and physical assault, and after he discovered secret conversations between his wife and another man, take effect?

If a man divorces his wife while he is conscious and has a choice, the divorce takes effect, even if he was angry or joking. If this was the first or second divorce, he can take her back during her waiting period (iddah (definition)) without the need for a contract, a guardian (wali), witnesses, or a dowry (sadaq), even if she does not consent. However, after the iddah expires, a new contract, her consent, witnesses, and a dowry are required. If this was the third divorce, she is not lawful for him until she marries another husband. If the divorce was issued in a state of extreme tension that caused him to lose consciousness, then the divorce does not take effect.
