Does selling cigarette packs in the supermarket, as a salesperson and not the owner, cause me to fall into sin?

Cigarettes are legally prohibited (haram) for consumption, sale, and assistance in their trade. Smoking them leads to definite harms and extravagance. Their sale is forbidden because when Allah prohibits something, He also prohibits its price, and because it involves assisting in sin, as stated in the Hadith, "And indeed, Allah Almighty, when He forbids the eating of a thing, He forbids its price." Assisting in their trade is forbidden due to the Almighty's saying: "And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression." Therefore, it is not permissible to sell cigarettes, whether you own the shop or work in it. You should advise the shop owner and avoid selling them.
