Is making up supererogatory prayers like making up obligatory prayers, or not? And how? Thank you.

Mending a supererogatory prayer is like mending a fard (obligatory) prayer in the rulings of forgetfulness, except that the Malikis have excluded five issues: 1. Omitting an additional surah (definition) after Al-Fatiha in a supererogatory prayer does not necessitate prostration. 2. Reciting aloud in a supererogatory prayer where it is usually recited aloud. 3. Reciting silently in a supererogatory prayer where it is usually recited silently. 4. If one performs a third rak'ah in a supererogatory prayer, they must complete a fourth, unlike an obligatory prayer. 5. If one forgets a pillar of a supererogatory prayer and a long time passes, nothing is due upon them, unlike an obligatory prayer.

As for the Shafi'is, they have two opinions: one is that the prostration of forgetfulness is also a sunnah (definition) in supererogatory prayers, just like obligatory prayers, and the other is that it is not prescribed in supererogatory prayers at all.
