Is a sorcerer a disbeliever (kafir) or a polytheist (mushrik)? What is the difference between them? And will a polytheist abide eternally in Hellfire without a disbeliever?

Preceding remarks discussed the ruling on magic, the difference between disbelief (kufr) and polytheism (shirk), and the eternal damnation of disbelievers and polytheists in Hellfire if their disbelief and polytheism were major (akbar). However, if the disbelief and polytheism were minor (asghar), then the one who committed them is subject to Allah's will and will certainly not abide eternally in Hellfire.
