The answer

It is permissible to supplicate with the words: "O Support of those who have no support," because it is a form of informing about Allah Almighty with a meaning befitting Him. The scope of informing is broader than the scope of names and attributes. It has been narrated that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, supplicated with the words: "O Turner of hearts, make my heart firm upon Your religion," even though "Turner of hearts" is not one of the names of Allah Almighty.
