Is it permissible to hold and carry the Qur'an with the left hand?

I am not aware of any impediment to taking the Mushaf with the left hand, but it is better and more preferable to take it with the right hand. This is because the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to favor the right hand in purification, combing his hair, giving and taking, and shaking hands, and he would use the left hand for other matters. If there is a need to take the Mushaf with the left hand for some reason, there is no harm, as the intention is not disrespect, and both hands cooperate.
