What are the hadiths of Anas and Jarhad to which Al-Bukhari referred with his statement: "The hadith of Anas is more authentic, and the hadith of Jarhad is more cautious"?

The Hadith (definition) of Jurhud, which states that the thigh is 'awrah (private parts), was narrated by Ahmad, Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud, and others. The Hadith of Anas, which indicates that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, uncovered his thigh, was narrated by Bukhari and Muslim. The Hadith of Anas has a stronger chain of narration, while the Hadith of Jurhud is more cautious. The majority of jurists have adopted the Hadith of Jurhud. The Zahiris, however, hold that a man's 'awrah consists only of the two private parts (front and back). The preponderant view is that of the majority, who interpreted the Hadith of Anas to mean that the izar (lower garment) was uncovered by itself, not intentionally.
