Is a wife entitled to get angry and shun her husband for hours because he did not do things she commanded him to do that pertain to him personally? And what is the ruling on her saying: "I don't want to hear talk because you don't act upon it, and because you know how to manipulate Sharia for your own benefit"?

A happy marital life requires each spouse to fulfill the rights of the other and strive to make them happy. This includes adornment and maintaining one's appearance. If the wife's request falls within permissible matters, then it is preferable to respond to her request to please her and gain her affection, in accordance with the Almighty's saying: "And live with them honorably," and the Hadith (definition): "The best of you is the best to his family, and I am the best of you to my family." As for the wife forsaking her husband and being angry with him, this is forbidden, and she must repent and seek forgiveness. The husband should help her by pardoning and advising her and avoiding whatever leads to such behavior.
