The answer

Islam has forbidden looking at a non-mahram woman, being alone with her, and speaking to her without need, let alone befriending her, due to the corrupting consequences this leads to. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, guided us to choose a wife based on her religiosity, saying: "A woman is married for four things: for her wealth, for her lineage, for her beauty, and for her religion. So, succeed with the one who is religious, may your hands be dusted with dust (a supplication for success)." This does not mean disregarding other criteria such as beauty and lineage; rather, it is recommended to marry a virgin. If the mentioned girl is a Muslim and chaste, she should be invited to adhere to the obligations of Islam, such as prayer and hijab, before marriage. If she responds positively, then the marriage can proceed after performing Istikhara (prayer for guidance). Otherwise, we advise searching for someone else.
