Is it permissible to avoid the appearance of a prayer mark on the forehead by placing a handkerchief or slightly raising the head while placing the nose fully on the ground, due to public appearance?

Raising the head slightly off the ground such that the forehead does not touch the ground invalidates the prayer. If it touches the ground without firmly pressing, then the prayer is invalid according to some jurists, and it is contrary to the Sunnah (definition) according to others. It is disliked to prostrate on a handkerchief or on what the worshiper is wearing, because it contradicts humility (khushu'). The forehead must be firmly pressed to the ground to avoid the disagreement of those who invalidate the prayer, and one should strive to perform the prayer in a manner that leaves no doubt of invalidity. Refraining from firmly pressing the forehead or placing a handkerchief, and the dislike of the appearance of the mark of prostration, may indicate arrogance. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "No one will enter Paradise who has a mustard seed's weight of arrogance in his heart." Also, the arrogant will be resurrected on the Day of Judgment like tiny ants, to be tormented in the Fire.
