Will one who has fulfilled the five pillars of Islam enter Paradise?
Sound hadiths indicate that whoever fulfills the obligations and avoids the prohibitions will enter Paradise. Among them is the of Jabir, that a man asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Tell me, if I perform the obligatory prayers, fast , deem lawful what is lawful, and deem unlawful what is unlawful, and do not add anything to that, will I enter Paradise?" He said: "Yes." The man said: "By Allah, I will not add anything to that."
Deeming lawful what is lawful is interpreted as believing it to be lawful and acting upon it, and deeming unlawful what is unlawful is interpreted as believing it to be unlawful and avoiding it.
The hadith indicates that whoever fulfills the obligations and refrains from the prohibitions will enter Paradise.
If a Muslim fulfills the obligations, avoids the prohibitions, and dies upon faith in Allah, he will enter Paradise, Allah willing.
