Are there any authentic Hadiths regarding the virtues of Surah Yasin, and is what is said about it, "It is for whatever it was recited for," correct?

Surah (definition) Ya-Sin is a great Meccan surah, focusing on the Oneness of Allah in His divinity and lordship, and the issue of resurrection. All narrations mentioned regarding its virtues are weak or fabricated, and there is no authentic hadith (definition) specific to its virtues. As for the hadith, "Ya-Sin is for what it is recited for," it is false and has no basis, and it is not permissible to attribute it to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. Furthermore, experience does not prove its authenticity. What some exegetes transmit, that the surah is not recited for a difficult matter except that Allah eases it, is an ijtihad (definition) (independent reasoning) for which there is no evidence from the Qur'an or Sunnah (definition). The supplicant's need might be fulfilled not because of what he recited, but rather due to the sincerity of his desperation, his poverty, and his seeking refuge in Allah.
