The answer

A good life can be attained by adhering to obedience to God and refraining from sins, and by increasing in remembrance of God (dhikr) and supplication (du'a). Numerous Quranic verses and Prophetic supplications have been mentioned that include seeking the well-being of one's religion, worldly life, and the Hereafter, as well as health, provision, and deliverance from poverty and debt. Examples include the words of Allah Almighty: "Our Lord, grant us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire" (Quran 2:201). The supplicant should remember God's generosity and power, and be certain that He is near and responsive, while avoiding impatience for a response or supplicating for something sinful or for the severance of kinship ties. It is permissible for a Muslim to ask God for every need, no matter how small.
