What is the ruling on brothers gifting the reward of an ongoing charity to their brother in Islam?

It is permissible for brothers and sisters to dedicate the reward of ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah) to their brother, whether in faith or by blood, and whether alive or deceased. The reward of charity is legislated to be dedicated to both the living and the dead.
