How sound is the prophetic hadith which states that whoever says, "O Allah, protect me from the Fire," seven times after the Fajr and Maghrib prayers and before speaking or moving, will have his sins forgiven?

Ahmad and Abu Dawud narrated a Hadith from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, in which he said: "When you pray Fajr, say before speaking to anyone: 'Allahumma ajirni min an-nar' (O Allah, protect me from the Hellfire) seven times. For indeed, if you die on that day, Allah the Almighty will decree for you protection from the Hellfire. And when you pray Maghrib, say before speaking to anyone: 'Allahumma inni as'aluk al-Jannah, Allahumma ajirni min an-nar' (O Allah, I ask You for Paradise, O Allah, protect me from the Hellfire) seven times. For indeed, if you die on that night, Allah the Almighty will decree for you protection from the Hellfire." Some scholars have deemed it weak, while others have deemed it good (hasan), including Al-Albani, who deemed it weak due to the unknown status of some of its narrators. However, Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar deemed it good. Abu Ya'la and Al-Diya' also narrated a Hadith that Al-Albani authenticated: "No servant seeks refuge from the Hellfire seven times in a day except that the Hellfire says: 'O Lord, indeed Your servant so-and-so has sought refuge from me, so grant him refuge.' And no servant asks Allah for Paradise seven times in a day except that Paradise says: 'O Lord, indeed Your servant so-and-so has asked for me, so admit him to Paradise.'"
