Is it permissible for a woman to pray in tight clothes, such as trousers and the like, in her home, knowing that there are previous fatwas that permit this if it does not reveal the skin color, and there are other opinions that prohibit it even if the prayer is performed alone, based on hadiths, narrations, and sayings of some فقهاء (jurists)?

Prayer performed in tight clothing is valid if it covers the entire awrah, though it is disliked for men and even more so for women. Some contemporary scholars have gone as far as to invalidate such prayers. However, no known major imams or early scholars held this view, except for what was narrated from Ashhab regarding trousers. The relied-upon position among the Malikis is that it is disliked, as stated by Khalil. Al-Kharashi mentioned that Malik disliked praying in trousers because they are form-fitting, and an izar (waist wrapper) is superior to them. Nevertheless, avoiding prayer in tight clothing is always better and carries greater reward. Invalidating the prayer is a severe matter that cannot be asserted without proof.
