What is the meaning of the Almighty’s saying: "And there was none comparable to Him," and does the verse imply that God is the only eternal being in existence absolutely, or only in this universe?

The texts of the Qur’an and Sunnah are explicit that Allah is the Creator of everything, and the phrase "everything" is general, encompassing what is in the universe and beyond. There is no other Lord. Allah, glory be to Him, has no equal in His names, attributes, or actions. Doubts about Allah’s creation must be shunned by seeking refuge in Allah and ceasing to think about them, spitting to the left three times, and saying: "I believe in Allah and His messengers" when asked "Who created Allah?"
