What is the ruling on praising the deceased at their burial for deeds they performed while alive? And does one who forbids that commit an act of disbelief?

Wailing (nadb) and lamenting (niyāḥah) over the deceased are Islamically forbidden. Nadb is weeping while enumerating the virtues of the deceased using an exclamatory phrase like "Wā sayyidāh" (Oh, my master!). Niyāḥah is raising one's voice with a wailing tone while doing so. However, merely praising the deceased and mentioning their virtues without wailing or lamenting is not forbidden. It is not permissible to imitate or watch forbidden acts in cartoons or games. And whoever states the impermissibility or permissibility of a certain matter does not commit disbelief by that. It is advised to turn away from obsessive thoughts (wasāwis).
