Is it true that the bodies of some deceased Muslims do not decompose as an honor to them, and do Muslims believe in that?

The phenomenon of a body not decomposing is mentioned in Islamic texts only in relation to prophets and messengers, for "Allah Almighty has forbidden the earth from consuming the bodies of the prophets." As for its occurrence with others, such as the righteous or martyrs, there is no religious text that explains it. This phenomenon might be due to natural factors, such as soil composition or bacteria, or it might be deception and illusion. Therefore, one should be rational, reflective, and study the matter from its biological and theological aspects. It cannot be considered proof of the deceased's righteousness or faith, for Allah knows best.
