What is the ruling on participating in the Google AdSense advertising program, and what is the ruling on the money earned from it, knowing that the nature of the program's work prevents the display of advertisements that violate Sharia, and that the advertisements displayed on the user's site are consistent with the site's topic and with the country from which the visitor accesses the site, and that the advertisements change periodically? Is the filtering feature sufficient to rule on its permissibility, knowing that this is the main source of income for the questioner?

It is not permissible to participate in the advertising program except after ensuring that the advertised websites are free from unlawful content, due to the Almighty's saying: (And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression), and the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: (Whoever calls to guidance will have a reward... and whoever calls to misguidance will bear a sin). If most of the advertisements are for language learning websites and the like, then there is no harm in participating, provided that religiously forbidden advertisements are prevented. If you are unable to prevent them and they appear despite your efforts, then you must stop using the service.
