Is it obligatory for supplication during prostration to be from the Sunnah supplications, or is it permissible to supplicate with any personal supplication? And can the remembrances of bowing and prostration, such as "Subhan Dhi al-Jabarut wal-Malakut wal-Kibriya wal-'Azamah (Glory be to the Possessor of Omnipotence, Sovereignty, Grandeur, and Might)," be repeated more than once? And is it permissible to combine a number of remembrances and say them at once?

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, commanded us to make abundant supplication during prostration, saying: "The closest a servant is to his Lord is when he is prostrating, so make abundant supplication." It is recommended for a Muslim to supplicate with the supplications narrated from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and he may also supplicate with any supplication that suits his need. Among the supplications narrated for prostration are: "O Allah, place light in my heart, and light in my hearing, and light in my sight, and light beneath me, and light in front of me, and light behind me, and grant me great light," and "Glory be to the Possessor of omnipotence, dominion, grandeur, and greatness." There is no objection to combining more than one supplication in prostration, or repeating a single supplication.
