The answer

Sleeping does not permit combining two prayers, whether by bringing the second forward (taqdim) or delaying the first (ta'khir). If one combines by bringing the second forward for this reason, their second prayer is invalid because it was performed before its due time, and it must be re-offered. If one sleeps after the time for a prayer has begun with the intention of combining it with the next, they have committed a grave sin by delaying the prayer past its time, and they must repent. However, this does not affect the validity of their fast.
