It is preferable to close the shop to perform the Friday prayer at the beginning of its time to hasten to do good. However, it is permissible to take turns going to the Friday prayer as long as those who are delayed will perform it within its time. Some can continue buying and selling in the shop until the second call to prayer for Jumu'ah begins in the mosque where they will pray. The prohibition of buying and selling when its time enters applies specifically to those for whom Jumu'ah is obligatory, whether it be the seller, the buyer, or one of them, and it is not prohibited for those for whom it is not obligatory.
