How can one remove the ill-suspicion (su' adh-dhann) resulting from seeing the abundance of disobedient people (al-'usat) in this era, such as some missing the Fajr prayer, even among those who outwardly appear committed to the Sunnah?
What we advise you to do is not to suffice with an inward denial of this negligence regarding the right of Allah, as long as you are capable of more than that. So, strive your utmost in advising the heedless and those who fall short in worshipping the Lord of the Worlds. Begin with those whom Allah has entrusted to your care, such as wives and children, then your relatives, neighbors, acquaintances, and others. Convey to them the religion of Allah through all available means: direct speech, Islamic audio tapes, messages, and pamphlets. Show them compassion and know that you are in a battle with Satan, and he will not cease to mislead them and beautify sins for them. As for ill-suspicion of Muslims, it is forbidden, and among the ways to repel it from yourself is knowing its prohibition.
