How is the value of a commercial property, purchased in installments with the intention of trading it, then leased, to be purified (paid zakat on), in addition to how is zakat to be paid on the rental income, knowing that the owners are employees?

If the shop is purchased for work, Zakat is not obligatory on it, but it is obligatory on the trade goods within it. The income from renting out the shop is added to the cash or trade goods. If the total reaches the nisab and a hawl (full lunar year) passes, Zakat becomes obligatory. The installments for the shop are considered a debt and do not exempt one from Zakat unless there is no other money exceeding basic needs to cover the debt. Repentance is obligatory for delaying the payment of Zakat, and it must be paid immediately once the hawl is complete. Each partner pays Zakat on their share if it reaches the nisab; the wealth of partners is not combined to complete the nisab.
