What should I do with the money I earned from advertisements that have a suspicion of being unlawful (haram), given that I have stopped the programs that display them?

If the advertisements and transactions are legitimate and permissible, then there is no harm in benefiting from the earned money. The fact that the websites' capital might involve a suspicion of unlawfulness does not affect the permissibility of the transaction itself. However, if the money was earned from browsing advertisements, some of which are impermissible, then it contains a proportion of unlawful money. This portion should be disposed of by spending it on the welfare of Muslims or giving it to the poor and needy. If the amount is unknown, then an effort should be made to estimate it with caution.
