Is it permissible in Tayammum to wipe the hands before the face, and what is the ruling on the prayer of one who does so?

In the Shafi'i school, the order between wiping the face and the hands in tayammum is considered a pillar of its validity. In the Hanbali school, this applies if the tayammum is for a minor ritual impurity (hadath asghar). Based on these two schools, the tayammum of one who wipes their hands before their face is invalid, and if they pray after doing so, their prayer is also invalid. As for the Maliki school, the order between the limbs of tayammum is considered a sunnah. One who wipes their hands first has reversed the order, and the person performing tayammum should not do this intentionally. However, if they do so and pray, their prayer is valid.
