How did the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) see the Prophet Moses (peace be upon him) standing in prayer in his grave on the Night of Isra (Ascension), and then see him in the fifth heaven? And was there a difference in time between the two sightings?

The scholars answered concerning how the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, saw Moses in his grave, then met him in the heavens, and prayed with the prophets in Jerusalem, and then their presence in the heavens. They explained that his seeing Moses in his grave was perhaps before his ascent to the heavens, and then Moses preceded him to the heavens. It is also possible that he saw the prophets and prayed with them in Jerusalem first, and then they welcomed him. Or his meeting with them, his prayer, and his seeing Moses could have been after he had departed and returned from the Lote Tree of the Utmost Boundary. It was also said that Moses ascended to the sixth heaven after the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, saw him in his grave, and likewise the prophets with whom he prayed in Jerusalem and then found them in the heavens.
