Is it permissible to reconcile with one's wife after her third divorce, knowing that one of the divorces was a khul' (divorce at the wife's instance) for compensation?

It is permissible to marry more than one woman, provided there is justice and ability, and it is not legislated to refuse your marriage due to the presence of a previous wife. The return (raj'ah) to a divorced wife before the completion of her 'iddah (definition) is valid, even if the wife refuses, and her consent or the consent of her guardian is not required. The majority of scholars hold that khul' is a divorce, while others believe it is a فسخ (annulment), which is the view preferred by Ibn Taymiyyah. If khul' occurs with the word of divorce or with the intention of divorce, it is considered a divorce. If you have divorced your wife twice in addition to the khul', then her return is not valid unless she marries another husband and he then divorces her.
