Your wife is disobedient (nashiz) if she leaves your home without your permission, and her maintenance (nafaqa) is forfeited. Her duty is to return to your home, and you are not obligated to provide another residence as long as you have provided a suitable and independent dwelling. Obedience to the husband takes precedence over obedience to parents. So, explain this to your wife and warn her of the consequences of disobedience. If she returns, treat her kindly.
