The answer

is the master of months; Allah chose it for its virtue, and in it is Laylat al-Qadr, which is better than a thousand months. It is for a Muslim to fast during it, and to frequently perform Tarawih prayers, recite the Quran, give charity, supplicate, and perform I'tikaf in the last ten days. It concludes with I'tikaf, al-Fitr, and Eid prayer. A Muslim spends Ramadan in acts of obedience and righteousness, making it a season of goodness in which one recharges with good deeds, rids oneself of evil deeds, and Muslims rejoice at its arrival.
