What is the ruling of Islamic law regarding the emission of fluid—either pre-seminal or seminal—as a result of a text conversation with a girl during the daytime in Ramadan, and what are the consequences of that?

The emission of semen invalidates the fast by consensus and necessitates making up the day and repentance. As for the emission of pre-seminal fluid (madhy), there are two opinions: it invalidates the fast according to the Malikis and the well-known position of the Hanbalis (Ahmad's madhhab (definition)), and this is the more preponderant view for one who caused its emission through conversation.
