The answer

Whoever sees a bad dream should keep it to himself and not tell anyone about it, for it will not harm him. It is not permissible to interpret dreams merely by looking into dream interpretation books, because a dream varies according to the situation, time, and place, and one's personal circumstances have a significant impact on its interpretation. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, guided that whoever sees something he dislikes should seek refuge with Allah from its evil and the evil of Satan, spit three times, and not tell anyone about it, for it will not harm him. It is also recommended to pray, supplicate, perform dhikr, engage in ruqyah شرعية (lawful incantation), and fear Allah Almighty, for whoever trusts in Allah, He will suffice him.
