The answer

It is not permissible to study books of horoscopes and stars, because they are among the signs of Allah which He has subjected for the benefit of His servants and as an adornment for the sky. They are used for guidance in darkness and for pelting devils. It has been established that the Prophet, peace be upon him, commanded prayer, supplication, and seeking forgiveness during solar and lunar eclipses, in response to the belief that an eclipse occurs due to someone's death or life. He clarified that this is a warning to the servants. As for astrology, it is forbidden and considered a form of magic that harms and does not benefit. It is divided into theoretical (inferring events from the movements of stars) and practical (celestial forces on earthly ones, like talismans), and both are invalid. Whoever believes that a star or a horoscope controls his happiness or misery, then this is a corrupt belief, and it may amount to disbelief if he believes it controls him.
