How can one deal with an aunt who harms the family, participates in forbidden matters, and attempts to transmit diseases, while maintaining kinship ties and avoiding the deterioration of faith?

The command to maintain kinship ties was among the first legislative directives revealed, and its importance is underscored by the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "He sent me to maintain kinship ties, to break idols, and that Allah alone be worshipped without associating anything with Him." Allah has warned against severing kinship ties, ordaining curses and a bad outcome for those who cut them off. If some relatives cause their kin to fall into sin by persistently engaging in acts of disobedience, such as singing and intermingling (free mixing), and thereby affect the faith of the one who maintains ties, then the Muslim must advise them. If they do not respond and this truly impacts their faith, then it is sufficient to maintain the minimum level of connection, such as a phone call or a brief visit. This should only be done after making the utmost effort to advise them and pray for their guidance.
